Through programs like “Hear me Roar!”, “The Bionic Duck Derby”, and “Music to Our Ears” we increase public awareness of what cochlear implants are, and the benefits they provide. Our goal is for the words “cochlear implants” to become a household term, so newly diagnosed families will know exactly what their options are. Proceeds from these events go toward funding programs that directly benefit deaf and hard of hearing children in our area.
How do we help?
Waiting to Hear exists to bring the gift of sound to children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and to support a listening and spoken language outcome for these kids.
